Support, Safety and Self-Determination
Support, safety, and self-determination is key for individuals with access and functional needs. During a disaster or emergency, community members may need resources like personal care assistance, behavioral health support, or trauma-informed services to support their safety and well-being. During emergencies, higher levels of distress, anxiety, psychological, or behavioral health needs may arise.
