Emergency Operation Center

The Alameda County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is the County’s central coordination hub during disasters and major incidents. When activated, the EOC brings together staff from county departments, cities, special districts, and partner agencies to support field responders, manage information, and ensure resources reach the communities that need them most.

The EOC does not replace first responders; instead, it provides the leadership, coordination, and support necessary to manage large-scale emergencies. Its purpose is to maintain situational awareness, communicate with partners and the public, and help the County respond effectively, efficiently, and safely.

During significant events, the EOC plays a vital role in keeping Alameda County informed, supported, and connected.
