Know Your Evacuation Zone

Alameda County uses standardized evacuation zones to help residents understand where they live in relation to emergencies and to communicate clearly during evacuations. Each zone is identified by a combination of letters (representing the general area) and numbers (representing the specific zone).

Using evacuation zones allows public safety officials to share clear, consistent information and helps reduce confusion when conditions are changing quickly.

To find your zone, visit Genasys Protect, enter your address, and save your zone name. You can also download the Genasys Protect app to receive updates based on your location.
